Admission is free, but please reserve a seat by calling 709-243-2899. Following the reading, Adrian will be signing copies of his book and the book will be available for purchase.
Life on the Great Northern Peninsula is Adrian Payne’s memoir, beginning in 1940, with his early childhood in Parson’s Pond, Hawke’s Bay, and Cow Head, then following him through his early years in the lumber woods, hunting moose in the wild north, and adventures on the Long Range Mountains. Adrian’s story continues with his years spent working several jobs in Toronto, before moving back to Cow Head to work in the fishery. Told anecdotally, this charming memoir illustrates a life well-lived on the Great Northern Peninsula.
