Help Canadians discover your favourite Atlantic bookstores

There’s no better place for a book lover to spend an afternoon (or morning or evening, for that matter) than within the walls of an independent bookstore. The Retail Council of Canada is making it easier to find those bookstores across the country, but it needs your help.

FindaBookstore.ca aims to map all of Canada’s independent bookstores so you can find the books you crave while in your Atlantic hometown or traveling our vast country. The Retail Council is calling out to all Canadians to help complete the map by submitting their favorite bookstores. Please visit the site and look for your favorite Atlantic Canadian bookseller. If you don’t see yours email the Retail Council.

In addition to helping the Retail Council map every bookstore in our region, you can help Atlantic booksellers, publishers and authors by sharing FindaBookstore.ca with your friends, family and co-workers. Spread the word by following the project on Twitter @RCCCBABook and use the hashtag #findabookstore when Tweeting about your favorite regional stores.

While you’re at it, share your favourite local bookstore with Atlantic Books Today readers by leaving a comment on this post.
