Last night the Atlantic Book Awards announced this year’s short list at the Halifax Central Library. Jon Tattrie  led a discussion with Valerie Compton, Alexander MacLeod and Ami MacKay called “Writers in Conversation”.  Shandi Mitchell’s Dalhousie University Creative Writing students opened the event with readings of their best short fiction from their final senior workshop.
